Meet Our Staff
Senior Pastor Johnny L. Burns, Sr.: began pastoral leadership at New Life Church in November 1992. Over the last 25 years, Reverend Johnny Burns previously served as an associate minister, Dean of Biblical Training, evangelist and teacher to many area communities and congregations across the Northeast. Through his obedience and continually submitting himself to be used by the Lord, he teaches and trains countless numbers of individuals to effectively minister to the world. As a visionary, Pastor Burns is used by God to bring restoration to many that are in need of God's hand.
Co-Pastor Sharon L. Burns: expanded her career in ministry by fulfilling her role in leadership as Co-Pastor at New Life Church in November 1995. Her career in ministry began at a young age, when she appeared as a guest vocalist on television and radio. Co-Pastor Burns is recognized as a professional recording artist and serves as the musical director over the church's music ministry. In addition to her ministries at New Life, as a director of music, she founded a community choir and a featured musician on countless projects and local ministries.
As a minister of the gospel and operating under a prophetic anointing, she is frequently requested by churches, rehabilitation centers, and conferences to walk in her anointing as an evangelist, guest speaker or musician.
Collectively under their leadership, the fivefold ministry of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are in full operation.
